Volodymyr Machuskyy (PhD in law) is working at the Kyiv National Economic University since October 1989. At the same time, he was Head of Legal Department of Joint Stock Commercial Bank “Resident”, head of the legal department of Joint Stock Commercial Bank “Express-Bank”, a board member of Legal Affairs of Joint Stock Company “Prometheus”, Counsel of joint Ukraine-USA company “Alliant-Kyiv”.
The creative works V. Machuskyy as a teacher are six (7) tutorials, totaling over 1000 printed pages. Two tutorials: “Legal basis of insurance” and “Legal environment for small businesses” was recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Volodymyr Machuskyy developed two master’s programs: “Insurance Law” and “Business Law”.
Research interests of Volodymyr Machuskyy are theoretical and legal aspects of the legal regulation of business and insurance, English Common Law, internet law, problems of legal access to public information. Volodymyr Machusky defended his thesis on “Legal regulation of insurance in Ukraine (economic and legal aspects).”
Volodymyr Machuskyy held internships at the University of Economics and Business of Vienna (Austria), led by Professor Peter Doralt.
Together with Professor Adam Gearey (University of London) V. Machuskyy coordinates the work of student scientific circle “Studies of English common law”.
Volodymyr Machuskyy teaches discipline “Legal regulation of economic activity” for students of economic specialties and discipline training “Business Law” for students of the joint British-Ukraine Business Administration program (Master of Business Administration).
Volodymyr Machusky is Teacher Emeritus of Kyiv national economic university. He has appreciation from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for his conscientious work in the field of education.
